A Message of Hope and Renewal (Greek Orthodox Pascha)
Then Jesus said to her, "I am the Resurrection and the Life. He who believes in me, even if he dies, he will live, and everyone who lives and trusts in me will never die. - John 11:26
Today is a day for everyone. For those who have faith and for those who doubt (like the disciples did).
It's a day for those who have endured suffering and await both physical and spiritual renewal.
This day is for the fearful, the hiding, the weeping.
It's for those who have made mistakes, who have chosen hatred over love.
It's for those who have prioritized temporary pleasures over lasting fulfillment.
It's for those who chase wealth and status instead of inner peace.
It's for those who have lost loved ones, parents, children.
It's for the children who are lost, alone on streets, in parks, in fields.
It's for those who cry themselves to sleep, rejected, insulted, belittled, disbelieved.
It's for all those who seek hope but feel it slipping away, whose happiness seems fleeting.
Today, we can reclaim what was lost. Today, we can step into a new life free from the burdens that led us to the cross alongside Jesus. For He showed us that with belief, nothing is impossible.
He wasn't crucified because we deserved it for our sins, but because through our actions, we can find our own resurrection. How? If, at the last moment, we understand, believe, forgive, and embrace Love.
Happy Mental and Physical Resurrection!
This is at once interesting, inspiring and comforting. What a wonderful aspect of a religion! Thank you for sharing it.
