Rediscovering the Magic Within
Why did we learn from a young age that we have to give up all the magic we believe in? Why are we afraid to let go and think about dragons, castles, and magical forests? Why don't we paint with our minds anymore?
Many would say that adult life comes with responsibilities and stress, but does that stop us from imagining and dreaming during our alone moments? We worry that these thoughts will distract us and prevent us from dealing with real problems. But how many of our daily thoughts actually help us with everyday life?
What if we let the little child inside us express themselves, imagine freely, read fairy tales and books, or engage in hobbies that aren't practical or common? Wouldn't we feel a bit more fulfilled inside? Wouldn't a spark of joy be created, helping us face everyday challenges with more energy and determination?
Why don't we do this, even for just 20 minutes before we go to sleep, instead of staring tiredly at social media and then falling asleep exhausted? These are just some thoughts on how we live our lives and who told us to live this way—and why we agreed.
